Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Olavo Zilles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4 minutes, Mateus Leão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tokyo SC and the Paranapolis players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes Tokyo SC got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Leão. Mateus Leão got his second yellow card in the match during the 7th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Sandrinho Coutinho walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Evandro Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Olavo Zilles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Osvaldo Toledo. The goal made the score 1-0. João Paulo Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Carlos Eduardo Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. João Paulo Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evandro Vinhass short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Osvaldo Toledo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. João Paulo Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Eduardo Lara in the 27th minute of the match. Osvaldo Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavo Zilles, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Carlos Eduardo Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Eduardo Lara couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Eduardo Lara made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Vinhas in the 53rd minute of play forced Tokyo SC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Natanael Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Paranapolis got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Costa. Carlos Eduardo Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. João Paulo Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evandro Vinhas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paranapolis's zone, Carlos Eduardo Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Paulo Rossi came out of the goal and Carlos Eduardo Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Eduardo Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but João Paulo Rossi made a huge save. 78 minutes into the game, Artur Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tokyo SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paranapolis the free kick. The supporters of Paranapolis booed when Tokyo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldo Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olavo Zilles's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Artur Paranaense's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, João Paulo Rossi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Carlos Eduardo Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Paranapolis's zone, Marco Tepedino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Paulo Rossi came out of the goal and Marco Tepedino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Eduardo Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Paulo Rossi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Eduardo Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Eduardo Lara got free with João Paulo Rossi in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Many of Tokyo SC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Tokyo SC may have spent more time on the ball, but Paranapolis were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
