The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltazar Novaes got free with Matías Urbano in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Internacional Palmeirense's Mateus Dantas got a free kick in the 57th minute. Matías Urbano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mateus Dantas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 63 minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Linda FC's goalkeeper Matías Urbano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baltazar Novaes. 69 minutes into the match, Baltazar Novaes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Matías Urbano, 0-5. In the 80th minute Durvalino Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Cearense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Linda FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Baltazar Novaes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Internacional Palmeirense booed when Linda FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Internacional Palmeirense played a much better game than Linda FC and deserved their victory. The Linda FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
