Silverio were furious when Cauan Brito was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 4th minute of the game. One of Silverio:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Inajaroba:s goal. In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Inajaroba. José das Neves stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aleandro Carioca. 1-0. Hugo Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elivélton Rodrigues in the 9th minute of play. Hugo Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elivélton Rodrigues in the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Edgar Ceresso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleandro Carioca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inajaroba! The supporters of Inajaroba booed when Silverio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elivélton Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Inajaroba's Nando Quirino got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elivélton Rodrigues made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Nando Quirino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aleandro Carioca. Silverio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nando Quirino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Nando Quirino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aleandro Carioca having to interfere. Aleandro Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Quirino in the 61st minute of the match.
