Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gil Travassos got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Morotim booed when Uba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinícius Catarinense didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes, Morotim's Franklin Medeiros shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nuno Toledo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Morotim reached it. In the 9th minute, Fabrício Zilles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vladimir Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimir Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vladimir Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Morotim got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Guerra. If Celsinho Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 21 minutes into the match, Celsinho Maia notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Morotim's Leopoldo Lara. Leopoldo Lara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabrício Zilles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Leopoldo Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredinho Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Almir Velasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nuno Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Travassos in the 41st minute of the match. Uba's Celsinho Maia got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Morotim getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Vladimir Guerra hit a great ball. Leopoldo Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Zilles, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. After 46 played minutes Morotim got a freekick which was hit by Jorginho Castro. After the first half Uba were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celsinho Maia to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel de Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Gil Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nuno Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Travassos's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. When Almir Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Morotim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Almir Velasco couldn't finish the play. Nuno Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gil Travassos in the 66th minute of play. If Gil Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gil Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Toledo having to interfere. Almir Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Uba getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Duda Massa hit a great ball. Gil Travassos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gil Travassos couldn't finish the play. Chants of Uba echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Morotim had held the ball for most of the match.
