Jorginho Castro helped the player get up and apologised. Gil Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Frank Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Lara was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Jorginho Castro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Mangueira. The goal made the score 0-1. Almir Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Travassos in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Mangueira saved Cupyra AD from getting behind. The Cupyra AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Morotim were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
