Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olívio Rodrigues started the match with the kick off. Anísio Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Abraão in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Guapiassu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Mandrak to maneuver through the defense. After 10 played minutes Gabriellemes FC got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Faria. After having played for 13 minutes, Sydney Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guapiassu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sydney Abraão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dário Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olívio Rodrigues in the 17th minute of play. Anísio Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Gabriellemes FC's Elias Araújo suffered a sprained foot after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When João Adolfo Souto fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guapiassu's protests and gave João Adolfo Souto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Guapiassu's João Adolfo Souto got a free kick in the 25th minute. Sydney Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Anísio Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guapiassu's Pedro Paulo Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Gabriellemes FC's Anísio Mendes got control of the ball when Pedro Paulo Coelho tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sydney Abraão made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Pedro Paulo Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anísio Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes of play Guapiassu's João Adolfo Souto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 55 played minutes Guapiassu got a freekick which was hit by João Adolfo Souto. Chiquinho de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pedro Paulo Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anísio Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulo Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elder Catarinense hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After having played for 66 minutes, Chiquinho de Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gabriellemes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chiquinho de Amaral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute, Gabriellemes FC's Fabiano Baiano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fabiano Baiano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gabriellemes FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabiano Baiano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Gabriellemes FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Guapiassu:s goal. Guapiassu's Pedro Paulo Coelho got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gabriellemes FC's Gilson Vidal got a free kick in the 76th minute. Fiori Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anísio Mendes having to interfere. In the 85thth minute of the game Pedro Paulo Coelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gabriellemes FC's Anísio Mendes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pedro Paulo Coelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 played minutes Gabriellemes FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilson Vidal. Fiori Gaúcho's late challenge caught a Gabriellemes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fiori Gaúcho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th match minute, Guapiassu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense.
