Manfredo Soares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Marcelinho Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Proença kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Luiz Gustavo Madureira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fiori de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fiori de Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Gustavo Madureira's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Tasso during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, Carlos Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luiz Gustavo Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válter Pena struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Marcelinho Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canguinho FC. Marcelinho Tróia made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Válter Pena sent off a good shot on target. If Manfredo Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Hyutanaha's goal looked a bit too open when Manfredo Soares came free, but Marcelinho Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fiori de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Fiori de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Madureira in the 62nd minute of the match. Marcelinho Tróia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manfredo Soares went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Válter Pena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Marcelinho Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77thth minute of the game Luiz Gustavo Madureira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canguinho FC's Fiori de Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Válter Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelinho Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Inácio Cruz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fiori de Barros, 1-1. 93 minutes into the match, Canguinho FC's goalkeeper Fiori de Barros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cláudio Martins. If Luiz Gustavo Madureira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfredo Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
