Rodrigo Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gil Quadros in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Quadros in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodrigo Travassos saved NZB from getting behind. Clemente Trigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Travassos having to interfere. Rodrigo Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Trigo in the 16th minute of play. Rodrigo Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gil Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Umberto França hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After having played for 18 minutes, Gil Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Broncos E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Quadros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. NZB's Rodrigo Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gil Quadros in the 22nd minute of play. Clemente Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Broncos E.C fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Broncos E.C's Gil Quadros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Umberto França struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Joris Reuters didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NZB. Umberto França charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Umberto França the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Umberto França hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 34 minutes of play NZB's Umberto França was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Umberto França kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gilbert Vercasteren shot a long shot in the 35th minute and a light blocked Rodrigo Travassos hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-2. Clemente Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Trigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Clemente Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rodrigo Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Luís de Medeiros hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gil Quadros to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in NZB's zone, Pedro Luís de Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Travassos came out of the goal and Pedro Luís de Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, NZB's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Clemente Trigo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gil Quadros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Rodrigo Travassos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Broncos E.C's Gil Quadros in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye NZB's goalie prevented a goal. Rodrigo Travassos made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Clemente Trigo sent off a good shot on target. Clemente Trigo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Rodrigo Travassos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Clemente Trigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Broncos E.C left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NZB.
