Cristiano das Neves took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guilherme Veiga. Guilherme Veiga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Sandro Cosme charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Cosme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Barcelona Juniors's Sandro Cosme got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Francisco Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Leopoldo Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona Juniors and the Carbonita AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Barcelona Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Leopoldo Moraes. The Carbonita AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barcelona Juniors were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Medeiros was the one to do the kick off. With his leg Guilherme Veiga managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Barcelona Juniors's Cristiano das Neves fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Cristiano das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristiano das Neves got free with Guilherme Veiga in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elias Diniz's late challenge caught a Barcelona Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. Elias Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Leopoldo Moraes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guilherme Veiga came out and tried to block the shot, but Leopoldo Moraes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 68th minute. Carbonita AD's Guilherme Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Carbonita AD from getting a goal against them. If Francisco Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 80 minutes into the game, Francisco Campidelis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carbonita AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barcelona Juniors the free kick. After 80 played minutes Carbonita AD got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Campidelis. Tiaguinho das Neves was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Carbonita AD's Guilherme Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Moraes in the 83rd minute of play. Guilherme Veiga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristiano das Neves in the 85th minute. Leopoldo Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Guilherme Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guilherme Veiga having to interfere. Carbonita AD's Guilherme Veiga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Moraes in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carbonita AD's Elias Diniz got a free kick in the 95th minute.
