The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Benedito Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgard Van Der Straeten was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernani Carvalho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Romanos13's Alexandre Linares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgard Van Der Straeten. That made the score 0-4 after 92 minutes of play. When the match was over Romanos13 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Itaporã throughout the match.
