Chutetso's Bernardinho Secco got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 15th minute of the match Bruno Domingues sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcel da Costa skillfully saved the ball. Waldir Mattos hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind E. C. Chutetso's goalkeeper Marcel da Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guto Quadros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcel da Costa having to interfere. Eusébio Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guto Quadros in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcel da Costa saved E. C. Chutetso from getting behind. Tutoia's Edu Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aírton Fontes in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Guto Quadros made a kick off. Edu Valladares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aírton Fontes's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. E. C. Chutetso's Marcel da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guto Quadros in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Rômulo Nóbrega notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tutoia's Edu Valladares. Edu Valladares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilton Barreto's late challenge caught a E. C. Chutetso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilton Barreto helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Guto Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tutoia's supporters rose to their feet, but Guto Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcel da Costa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Marcel da Costa managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Tutoia's Eusébio Simão fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edu Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aírton Fontes in the 74th minute of the match. After 76 played minutes Tutoia got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Barreto. Eusébio Simão in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marcel da Costa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Guto Quadros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcel da Costa. That made the score 1-2 in the 82 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guto Quadros in the 88th minute of play forced E. C. Chutetso's goalkeeper Marcel da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, E. C. Chutetso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir Mattos to maneuver through the defense. Eusébio Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tutoia played a much better game than E. C. Chutetso and deserved their victory. The E. C. Chutetso players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
