Eriberto Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto Severo, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Haroldo Cavalcante charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Haroldo Cavalcante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sente o Drama fc's Haroldo Cavalcante got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sente o Drama fc's zone, Ediberto Severo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eriberto Britto came out of the goal and Ediberto Severo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jean Corrêa charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jean Corrêa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ediberto Severo struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Eriberto Britto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trapizeiro. In the 33rd match minute, Sente o Drama fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean Corrêa to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Britto acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 33rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from João Augusto Sarmento. In the 36th minute, Victor Rocha fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eriberto Britto, passed just outside the right post. A hard shot 38 in the game by Claudinho da Silva from a close distance when the talented Eriberto Britto managed to make a qualified save. Sente o Drama fc's players were relieved. If Ediberto Severo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinho da Silva got free with Eriberto Britto in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celso Bastos's late challenge caught a Sente o Drama fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Bastos helped the player get up and apologised. Celso Bastos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Eriberto Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ediberto Severo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
After some careless play in the Sente o Drama fc defense, Claudinho da Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eriberto Britto. The Sente o Drama fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eriberto Britto should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute, Paulinho Velloso made a precise shot to the right of Eriberto Britto. Sente o Drama fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ediberto Severo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trapizeiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Ediberto Severo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eriberto Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ediberto Severo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Britto having to interfere. Haroldo Cavalcante hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ediberto Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinho da Silva in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eriberto Britto saved Sente o Drama fc from getting behind. In the 68th minute Ediberto Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Britto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiago Velasco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodrigo Lopez. That made the score 3-2 in the 70 minute of play. Haroldo Cavalcante hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. João Augusto Sarmento, 75 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Sente o Drama fc's Eriberto Britto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho da Silva in the 84th minute of play.
