Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Trapizeiro's Ediberto Severo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodrigo Lopez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olívio Peixoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlos Fernando Pinho was a little too slow when Ediberto Severo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Trapizeiro booed when Cariacica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball.
