Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nilton Lara got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betão Mota during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Atlético Mourãoense booed when Piratininga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Gustavo Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Franklin Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Piratininga getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Flávio Lopes hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Franklin Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vágner da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aluísio Veiga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilton Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Franklin Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vágner da Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 34th minute, Maurinho Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Lenílson Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Mourãoense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piratininga the free kick. In the 36th minute, Lenílson Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vágner da Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franklin Alcântara's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Vágner da Silva came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Atlético Mourãoense's Renato Travassos. But to his dismay, Renato Travassos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 47th minute Renato Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vágner da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Renato Travassos made the kick off in the second half. Renato Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Vágner da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Franklin Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michel Rosado kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Maurinho Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alan do Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan do Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Atlético Mourãoense booed when Piratininga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan do Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Franklin Alcântara got free with Vágner da Silva in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Maurinho Vinhas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aluísio Veiga was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. If Luís Gustavo Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Gustavo Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Atlético Mourãoense players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Piratininga from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
