M.E. Reino de Felíndia's supporters rose to their feet, but Anísio Varela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Pedro Breckenfeld breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Anísio Varela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edinho da Rocha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anísio Varela struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Zé Pedro Breckenfeld didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for M.E. Reino de Felíndia. Zé Pedro Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Varela in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edinho da Rocha was the one to do the kick off. M.E. In the 62nd minute Edinho da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Pedro Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Donato Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. M.E. Reino de Felíndia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st match minute, Paraibuna EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Neves to maneuver through the defense. In the 96th minute Ademar Pinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deivid Lira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. M.E. Reino de Felíndia played a much better game than Paraibuna EC and deserved their victory. The Paraibuna EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
