Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Erik Fernandez kicked off to start the match. After having played for 5 minutes, Ademir Salgado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Triumfo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ademir Salgado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Paulo José Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Salgado in the 7th minute of play. When Ademir Salgado fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Triumfo's protests and gave Ademir Salgado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th minute, Ademir Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ademir Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Paulo José Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ademir Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Erik Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aírton Pena made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when João Hermes sent off a good shot on target. If Ademir Salgado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Erik Fernandez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Hugo Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Nóbrega received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Aírton Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Vasconcelos was the one to do the kick off. Aírton Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Vasconcelos in the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Triumfo getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Remo Botelho hit a great ball. Hugo Vasconcelos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute Hugo Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aírton Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Percy Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aírton Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Hermes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Ademir Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo José Nunes having to interfere. Erik Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Paulo José Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jacinto Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Ademir Salgado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Paulo José Nunes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugo Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Aírton Pena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Triumfo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! Paulinho Pirani walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When the match clock showed 98 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Hugo Vasconcelos sped through Triumfo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aírton Pena. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tinguis EC had won after a very even match.
