Ronaldinho da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo Toledo in the 3rd minute of the match. When Alferes AD's Luís Eduardo Toledo in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jaguara AD's goalie prevented a goal. In the 10th minute, César Queiroz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alferes AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Jaguara AD's zone, César Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho da Silva came out of the goal and César Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luís Eduardo Toledo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Jaguara AD defense, Luís Eduardo Toledo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ronaldinho da Silva. The Jaguara AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ronaldinho da Silva should have stopped the shot. Ronaldinho da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from César Queiroz in the 30th minute of the match. Luís Eduardo Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho da Silva having to interfere. Edmílson Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benê Tasso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. César Queiroz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th minute, Manfredo Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Queiroz in the 45th minute of play. Alferes AD's Jorginho Mota quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Benê Tasso, made in the 47th minute of the game. The Jaguara AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alferes AD were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Eduardo Toledo made a kick off. Luís Eduardo Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho da Silva having to interfere. Jorginho Mota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho da Silva having to interfere. A hard, long distance shot from Jorginho Mota flew over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, César Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alferes AD's supporters rose to their feet, but César Queiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronaldinho da Silva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Jaguara AD getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Gualter da Silva hit a great ball. With a little luck, Jaguara AD's Ronaldinho da Silva got control of the ball when Luís Eduardo Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luís Eduardo Toledo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho da Silva having to interfere. Benê Tasso struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Edmílson Schmidt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaguara AD. Luís Eduardo Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ronaldinho da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alferes AD walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
