Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvinho Vidal started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Correntes AD got a freekick which was hit by Henrique Aguiar. In the 4th minute, Ramón Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ramón Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Messias read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rubro Negro - DF's goalkeeper Laércio Siqueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Ramón Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silvinho Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laércio Siqueira having to interfere. If Jarbas Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramón Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Messias having to interfere. Ramón Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Pedro de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Messias having to interfere. Ramón Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Victor Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Messias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro de Senna in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Silvinho Vidal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Laércio Siqueira. Silvinho Vidal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zé Pedro de Senna was the one to do the kick off. Zé Pedro de Senna struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Victor Messias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rubro Negro - DF. Laércio Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarbas Lara in the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute Silvinho Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laércio Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarbas Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Allan Silva's late challenge caught a Correntes AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Allan Silva helped the player get up and apologised. 64 minutes into the game, one of Rubro Negro - DF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Silvinho Vidal struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Laércio Siqueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Correntes AD. Correntes AD's Jarbas Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Silvinho Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvinho Vidal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Laércio Siqueira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Ramón Silva took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Messias. Victor Messias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Rubro Negro - DF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
