Bonifacio AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Quintal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th match minute, sao paulo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorginho Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Augusto Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Araújo in the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Amílton Quintal notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of sao paulo's Augusto Amaral. Augusto Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, sao paulo's César Albuquerque got a free kick in the 98th minute.
