In the 9th minute Fausto Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Amílton Quintal came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Bonifacio AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amílton Quintal couldn't finish the play. Fausto Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. César Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bonifacio AD's Fausto Araújo in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 26thth minute of the game Fausto Araújo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corante EC's César Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute Fausto Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Amílton Quintal made a precise shot to the right of César Trancoso. Corante EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 39th minute Fausto Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but César Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. César Trancoso made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Amílton Quintal sent off a good shot on target. Juan Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bonifacio AD getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Dedê Vidal hit a great ball. When Juan Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Corante EC fans jumped to their feet. Corante EC's Reinaldo Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Percival Dante was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Juan Paiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Juan Paiva really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
