Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tiago Paulista took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Egídio Toledo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Taiacupeba EC's Murilo de Almeida. Murilo de Almeida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 8th minute, Gilvan de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murilo de Almeida made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Gilvan de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Murilo de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taiacupeba EC's Murilo de Almeida proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Taiacupeba EC from getting a goal against them. Tiago Paulista struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Murilo de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Araguar. Murilo de Almeida made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gilvan de Andrade in the 28th minute. Tiago Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fabinho Lopes was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 43rd match minute, Taiacupeba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Lopes to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Araguar booed when Taiacupeba EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Pombal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Araguar were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Taiacupeba EC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Vladimir Seco took the corner. Egídio Toledo charged in rather forcefully in the 49th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egídio Toledo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Araguar getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Egídio Toledo hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesinha Mota to strike the kick off in the second half. Murilo de Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilvan de Andrade in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of Taiacupeba EC booed when Araguar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Gilvan de Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Murilo de Almeida. Taiacupeba EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Murilo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan de Andrade in the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Egídio Toledo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Taiacupeba EC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Luiz Paulo Maranhense hit a great ball. Frédson Lopes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murilo de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilvan de Andrade in the 78th minute of the match. Araguar's Mané Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taiacupeba EC's Murilo de Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilvan de Andrade in the 91st minute of play. If Gilvan de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
