Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) William Fontes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Calisto EC's Agostinho Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Percy Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Percy Moura in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Paulo Nunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, William Fontes made a precise shot to the right of Válter Fernandes. Calisto EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Calisto EC's zone, Chico Santana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Válter Fernandes came out of the goal and Chico Santana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ademir de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ademir de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Careacu SS's zone, Percy Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Paulo Nunes came out of the goal and Percy Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Agostinho Ferreira hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Careacu SS's Eriberto Pontes got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luiz Paulo Nunes made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Ademir de Almeida sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Percy Moura made a kick off. Percy Moura struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Luiz Paulo Nunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calisto EC. If Chico Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Válter Fernandes managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Careacu SS's Chico Santana fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Chico Santana's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Válter Fernandes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Percy Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Paulo Nunes having to interfere. Luiz Paulo Nunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy Moura in the 82nd minute of play. Luiz Paulo Nunes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademir de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Chico Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Válter Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ademir de Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calisto EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademir de Almeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Paulo Nunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
