The Marangatu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeu Silveira should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute, Alfredão Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Marangatu's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Bertassi came free, but Romeu Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manoel Mello might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romeu Silveira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doni Bertassi to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Alfredão Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marangatu's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredão Mandrak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilson Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doni Bertassi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 63 minutes, Gerson Loyola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marangatu and the Tenda players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Manoel Mello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romeu Silveira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doni Bertassi in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romeu Silveira saved Marangatu from getting behind. Doni Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeu Silveira having to interfere. Marangatu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 100th minute, when Doni Bertassi scored to the left of an out of position Romeu Silveira, making the score, 0-5. When the match was over Tenda could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Marangatu throughout the match.
