Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Marinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Loredo getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Doni Novaes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Thiago Cearense when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Maruai SS's goalkeeper Thiago Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doni Novaes. Lino Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júlio Marinho in the 69th minute of play. 69 minutes into the game, Sidney Damião was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loredo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maruai SS the free kick. Thiago Cearense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Lira in the 73rd minute of the match. Loredo's Natanael Severo got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Natanael Severo off the ground. Amílton Vander struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Thiago Cearense didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loredo. The Maruai SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Loredo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
