When Norberto Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piraputanga AD's protests and gave Norberto Valadares a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Camatei booed when Piraputanga AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norberto Valadares didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaltino Mendes to make the kick off. Rodrigo Ribeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Baltazar Gaspar made a huge save.
