The tension between the Jaguaracu AD and the Maracassume players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fábio de Queiroz in the 5th minute of play forced Jaguaracu AD's goalkeeper Rony Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fábio de Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rony Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geraldo Urbano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maracassume's Dudu Dante played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Augusto dos Santos in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Jaguaracu AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. João Adolfo Prestes struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Rony Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maracassume. The supporters of Maracassume booed when Jaguaracu AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 played minutes Jaguaracu AD got a freekick which was hit by Aleandro Proença. Luiz Fábio de Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Rony Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maracassume.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Fábio de Queiroz to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Jaguaracu AD got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo Urbano. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Adolfo Prestes in the 62nd minute of play forced Jaguaracu AD's goalkeeper Rony Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Emerson Rezende hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Maracassume getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Jaguaracu AD's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 84th minute of the game, when Geraldo Urbano after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Maracassume's goal. Geraldo Urbano was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. João Adolfo Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
