Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Faustão Brasil started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Vorpal Swords was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo de Castro to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes, Jabuti's Giovani Magalhães shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felipe Alvarenga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jabuti reached it. Vorpal Swords's João Augusto Pena shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 7th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hílton Moraes but with some difficulty. In the 10th minute Faustão Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Bernardo Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Jabuti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Carioca couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Faustão Brasil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hílton Moraes. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. Faustão Brasil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Hílton Moraes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fernando Barros during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luiz Fernando Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Jabuti's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Brasil came free, but Hílton Moraes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Paulista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Virgílio Coutos short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Hílton Moraes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felipe Alvarenga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Carioca in the 30th minute of the match. After 35 played minutes Jabuti got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Hames. 37 minutes into the game, Faustão Brasil recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hílton Moraes. Faustão Brasil showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Faustão Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Jabuti got a freekick which was hit by Lúcio Hames. After a defensive mix-up in Jabuti's zone, Faustão Brasil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Moraes came out of the goal and Faustão Brasil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Luiz Fernando Barros was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. In the 45th minute, Luiz Fernando Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

If Virgílio Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Virgílio Couto came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Vorpal Swords fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Couto couldn't finish the play. In the 61stth minute of the game Virgílio Couto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jabuti's Hílton Moraes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgílio Couto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st match minute, Vorpal Swords was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernando Veiga to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 72 minutes, Betinho Paulista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jabuti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betinho Paulista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Virgílio Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jabuti's Lúcio Hames got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Lúcio Hames off the ground. A collision led to Jabuti getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lúcio Hames hit a great ball. Virgílio Couto struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Hílton Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vorpal Swords. Bernardo Carioca hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Virgílio Couto might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hílton Moraes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgílio Couto ran back to his position shaking his head. When Vorpal Swords's Virgílio Couto in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jabuti's goalie prevented a goal. Faustão Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that Vorpal Swords were the better team. Vorpal Swords's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
