In the 14th minute Slawomir Nakoneczny shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Décio Cabral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Slawomir Nakoneczny put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Décio Cabral. Décio Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evandro de Andrade in the 29th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evandro de Andrade made a kick off. If Acácio Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 53 minutes into the match, Evandro de Andrade had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Décio Cabral. Titia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evandro de Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. A collision led to Titia getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Emerson Veiga hit a great ball. Pedrinho Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Fidel Florian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olavo Soeiro in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Olavo Soeiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Florian. Tocantins's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olavo Soeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Tocantins's Fidel Florian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olavo Soeiro in the 71st minute of play. With his leg Décio Cabral managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Tocantins's Evandro de Andrade fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 76 minutes into the match, Titia's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Nakoneczny came free, but Décio Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emerson Veiga during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emerson Veiga hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Slawomir Nakoneczny kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Décio Cabral. That made the score 2-5 in the 80 minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Titia's goal looked a bit too open when Slawomir Nakoneczny came free, but Décio Cabral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tocantins eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
