After a defensive mix-up in Currahnho EC's zone, Marquinhos Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fabiano Maia came out of the goal and Marquinhos Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adrianinho Paranaense hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Luiz Fabiano Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erasmo Paranaense's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Manuel Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Currahnho EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Boreby's goal looked a bit too open when Douglas Neiva came free, but Jonathan Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
