Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tomás Loyola made the kick off which started today's match. Macao EC's Jean Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tejuco's Doni Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Penha in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tejuco's zone, Jean Toledo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doni Xavier came out of the goal and Jean Toledo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tiago Gabriel Penha came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Macao EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiago Gabriel Penha couldn't finish the play. Jean Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Doni Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Geraldo Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tejuco's supporters rose to their feet, but Geraldo Romero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ediberto Alves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Loyola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doni Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Toledo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tejuco's Doni Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Gabriel Penha in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Claudinho Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute of the match Genílson de Carvalho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Doni Xavier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Doni Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Penha in the 38th minute of play. Macao EC's Tiago Gabriel Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Tiago Gabriel Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macao EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Gabriel Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Gabriel Penha in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doni Xavier saved Tejuco from getting behind. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiago Gabriel Penha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ediberto Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Loyola in the 52nd minute of the match. Macao EC's Ediberto Alves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Loyola in the 57th minute of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Macao EC's goalkeeper Ediberto Alves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Macao EC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Loyola came free, but Ediberto Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Doni Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Macao EC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. José Maria Loyola hit a great ball. After 80 minutes, Luís Fábio Trigo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tejuco and the Macao EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 80 played minutes Tejuco got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fábio Trigo. In the 82nd minute, Geraldo Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match, Jean Toledo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Doni Xavier was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nelsinho Queiroz's late challenge caught a Macao EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nelsinho Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Macao EC booed when Tejuco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelsinho Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th match minute, Macao EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiago Gabriel Penha to maneuver through the defense. 93 minutes into the match, Tejuco's goal looked a bit too open when Tiago Gabriel Penha came free, but Doni Xavier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Macao EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
