Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dedê de Sena got the match started through his kick off. Anísio Arósio's late challenge caught a Ilicinea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giuseppe Custódio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Giuseppe Custódio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Roberto Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. Toninho Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Zé Roberto Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Pedrinha EC's Zé Roberto Couto threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Oséias Guerra, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Toninho Camargo couldn't finish the play. If Toninho Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toninho Mazza might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zé Roberto Couto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Toninho Mazza ran back to his position shaking his head. Dedê de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Válbson Azevedo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zé Roberto Couto. Ilicinea's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
