Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) João Pedro Nunes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleandro Cabral in the 3rd minute of play forced Itaji SC's goalkeeper Gualter Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Itaji SC booed when Neris SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Alan Batista left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Neris SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aleandro Cabral in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualter Machado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Pedro Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardinho do Vale having to interfere. If João Pedro Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Aleandro Cabral notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Itaji SC's Gualter Machado. Gualter Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felipe Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Itaji SC's goal looked a bit too open when Aleandro Cabral came free, but Gualter Machado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleandro Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Itaji SC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Neris SS were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aleandro Cabral stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Aleandro Cabral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neris SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aleandro Cabral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Neris SS's Bernardinho do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Nunes in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aleandro Cabral in the 58th minute of play forced Itaji SC's goalkeeper Gualter Machado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alan Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aleandro Cabral recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. João Pedro Nunes took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardinho do Vale. Bernardinho do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. When Alan Batista came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Neris SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Batista couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Neris SS's Aleandro Cabral ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gualter Machado. Gualter Machado yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. 91 minutes into the match, Itaji SC's goalkeeper Gualter Machado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alan Batista. Aleandro Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualter Machado having to make a save. If Alan Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, Alan Batista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Gualter Machado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
