Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Calabaca AD's Mazinho Perez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Thiago Paes came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Calabaca AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thiago Paes couldn't finish the play. Mazinho Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 8th minute Mazinho Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geovanni Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Thiago Paes sped through Lira's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Geovanni Cunha. The nice shot from Raimundo Vale in the 20thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Vânderson Souto had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Gonçalo Matos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geovanni Cunha. Lira's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Raimundo Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Vânderson Souto made a huge save. Basílio Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Lira getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Vicente Mesquita hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Lira defense, Thiago Paes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geovanni Cunha. The Lira fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geovanni Cunha should have stopped the shot. Raimundo Vale's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 49thth minute, Vânderson Souto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After the first half Calabaca AD were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Raimundo Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vânderson Souto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Calabaca AD's zone, Jonathan Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vânderson Souto came out of the goal and Jonathan Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jonathan Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Calabaca AD's Vânderson Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Abraão in the 67th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Calabaca AD got a freekick which was hit by Adalmo Terra. Vânderson Souto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Abraão in the 71st minute of play. Calabaca AD's Vânderson Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Vale in the 74th minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Raimundo Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vânderson Souto. Calabaca AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raimundo Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Lira's Geovanni Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazinho Perez in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mazinho Perez in the 91st minute of play forced Lira's goalkeeper Geovanni Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
