Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Lenílson Simões took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elói Melo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fábio Cordeiro in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Sarutai SC's goalkeeper Luiz Gustavo Bezerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lenílson Simões. Lenílson Simões in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luiz Gustavo Bezerra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Wiliam Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Dida Martins managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guariba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dida Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lenílson Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Luiz Gustavo Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Álvaro Prata in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luiz Gustavo Bezerra, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Guariba's Lenílson Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Gustavo Bezerra stood somewhat misplaced when Álvaro Prata came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 29 minute. In the 33rd minute, Sarutai SC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Álvaro Prata fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Álvaro Prata could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Luiz Gustavo Bezerra however easily saved by the left post. In the 44th match minute, Sarutai SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Eger to maneuver through the defense. After 47 played minutes Sarutai SC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Saraiva.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wiliam Reis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Álvaro Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guariba's supporters rose to their feet, but Álvaro Prata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Gustavo Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the game, Guariba's Álvaro Prata nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luiz Gustavo Bezerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When Guariba's Lenílson Simões in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarutai SC's goalie prevented a goal. 62 minutes into the match, Guariba's Álvaro Prata sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luiz Gustavo Bezerra narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Alberto Terra charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Alberto Terra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Álvaro Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Gustavo Bezerra having to interfere. Álvaro Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Luiz Gustavo Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fábio Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wiliam Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Melo having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Fábio Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Sarutai SC's Wiliam Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elói Melo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Alberto Terra got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After having played for 93 minutes, Álvaro Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guariba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wiliam Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Melo having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Guariba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
