Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Virgílio Albuquerque took the kick off in the first half of the match. A hard shot 4 in the game by Luís Fabiano Lara from a close distance when the talented Frédson Cerezo managed to make a qualified save. Condeixa AD's players were relieved. Paulinho Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nico Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédson Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Xburgueeres's goal looked a bit too open when Virgílio Albuquerque came free, but Nico Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Paulinho Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Condeixa AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Condeixa AD booed when Xburgueeres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Schmidt came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Condeixa AD's Paulinho Trigo. But to his dismay, Paulinho Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Virgílio Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nico Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulinho Trigo in the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Virgílio Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes Condeixa AD got a freekick which was hit by Edvaldo Breckenfeld. After a defensive mix-up in Condeixa AD's zone, Luís Fabiano Lara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédson Cerezo came out of the goal and Luís Fabiano Lara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmundo Silveira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frédson Cerezo. Condeixa AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 45th minute, Pedro Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Virgílio Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Condeixa AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgílio Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when André Luiz Trancoso made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Luís Fabiano Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Xburgueeres's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Fabiano Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frédson Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Luiz Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Cerezo having to interfere. After 61 played minutes Xburgueeres got a freekick which was hit by Márcio Carioca. Diamantino Zilles, 62 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Virgílio Albuquerque blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nico Schmidt having to make a save. Luís Fabiano Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédson Cerezo having to interfere. Frédson Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Trancoso in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Luiz Trancoso in the 70th minute of play forced Condeixa AD's goalkeeper Frédson Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frédson Cerezo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Luiz Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Condeixa AD's Frédson Cerezo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Fabiano Lara in the 79th minute of play. Condeixa AD's Paulinho Trigo got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 83 minutes, Virgílio Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Condeixa AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgílio Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Armandinho de Lima hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Virgílio Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulinho Trigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nico Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. André Luiz Trancoso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frédson Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
