Válbson Hermes hit a great ball. Glauco Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Leite in the 27th minute of the match. Vágner Marinho hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Perivaldo Linhares made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Henrique Porto sent off a good shot on target. Juninho Leite struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Glauco Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Destampina. In the 48th minute there was a penalty for Destampina. Adelino Mesquita stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Glauco Gaspar. 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrique Porto in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perivaldo Linhares saved Destampina from getting behind. Joel Linares was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 78 minutes into the match, Henrique Porto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Perivaldo Linhares. Destampina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrique Porto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Destampina's Adolfo Fontes shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Glauco Gaspar but with some difficulty. Destampina's Beto Cosme got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Arabia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Cosme came free, but Glauco Gaspar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juninho Leite got free with Glauco Gaspar in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Beto Cosme struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Glauco Gaspar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Destampina.
