The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Paulo Santos got free with Kléberson Andrade in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Luizão Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambarazinho's supporters rose to their feet, but Luizão Torres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kléberson Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, Túlio Secco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alessandro Seco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 35th minute of the game. One of Cambarazinho:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Feia SC:s goal. Cambarazinho:s Alessandro Seco showed great skill when he stopped Luiz Paulo Mazza:s penalty. After some careless play in the Cambarazinho defense, Tony Gonçalves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alessandro Seco. The Cambarazinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alessandro Seco should have stopped the shot. After 45 minutes, Tony Gonçalves made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Cambarazinho's Alessandro Seco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

João Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Alessandro Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute Pedro Paulo Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Gonçalves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Alessandro Seco made a huge save. Téo Leão hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After having played for 94 minutes, Jano Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambarazinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jano Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute Luizão Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
