Pindorama F.C. were furious when Manolo Massa was red carded, 22 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 23rd match minute, Pindorama F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolo Massa to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Luiz Guilherme Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cauã de Brito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mazinho Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Belchior Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zacarias Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pindorama F.C.'s goalkeeper Zacarias Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Pindorama F.C. booed when Itaperarama AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertino Mandrak didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gilberto Couto came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Pindorama F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Couto couldn't finish the play. Cauã de Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loco Maagøe in the 40th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Gilberto Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindorama F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itaperarama AD's goalkeeper Cauã de Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Itaperarama AD's zone, Réda Benkirat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauã de Brito came out of the goal and Réda Benkirat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 47 minutes into the game, one of Itaperarama AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Pindorama F.C. a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Réda Benkirat, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Itaperarama AD's Cauã de Brito. 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Belchior Vasconcelos to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Itaperarama AD's goalkeeper Cauã de Brito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Luís Guilherme Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvaldo Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zacarias Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Belchior Vasconcelos's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Réda Benkirat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã de Brito having to interfere. Pindorama F.C.'s Réda Benkirat got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zacarias Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Marinho in the 68th minute of the match. When Belchior Vasconcelos fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itaperarama AD's protests and gave Belchior Vasconcelos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Itaperarama AD's Belchior Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 72nd play minute Réda Benkirat came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cauã de Brito. 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Guilherme Marinho in the 77th minute of play forced Pindorama F.C.'s goalkeeper Zacarias Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 minutes, Mazinho Maranhense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pindorama F.C. and the Itaperarama AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pindorama F.C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mazinho Maranhense hit a great ball. Luiz Eduardo Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Réda Benkirat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cauã de Brito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Itaperarama AD's Cauã de Brito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Itaperarama AD from getting a goal against them. Pindorama F.C.'s Zacarias Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Abraão in the 94th minute of play. Réda Benkirat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Cauã de Brito made a huge save. In the 97th minute, Pindorama F.C.'s Réda Benkirat dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5.
