Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luís Gustavo Baptista started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 4 minutes into the match, Pindorama F.C.'s Luís Gustavo Baptista sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elói Alvarenga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zacarias do Vale received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Zacarias Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Réda Benkirat in the 10th minute of play forced Macinha EC's goalkeeper Elói Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gilberto Couto came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Pindorama F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Couto couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Dalmo Recife reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zacarias Torres. The goal made the score 1-0. Luís Gustavo Baptista took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elói Alvarenga. Elói Alvarenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pindorama F.C.'s goalkeeper Zacarias Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Luís Gustavo Baptista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elói Alvarenga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Réda Benkirat in the 39th minute of play forced Macinha EC's goalkeeper Elói Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Luís Gustavo Baptista came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Pindorama F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Gustavo Baptista couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Macinha EC's Danilo Nunes got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugo Trancoso made a kick off. Elói Alvarenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Réda Benkirat went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Pindorama F.C.'s William Cavalcante got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute of the match Laércio Queiroz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zacarias Torres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mazinho Maranhense was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 66 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, one of Pindorama F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pindorama F.C.. Pindorama F.C.:s Zacarias Torres showed great skill when he stopped Laércio Queiroz:s penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Macinha EC's zone, Loco Maagøe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elói Alvarenga came out of the goal and Loco Maagøe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Réda Benkirat's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Elói Alvarenga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Luís Gustavo Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th match minute, Macinha EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias do Vale to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Pindorama F.C. booed when Macinha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Macinha EC's zone, Réda Benkirat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elói Alvarenga came out of the goal and Réda Benkirat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 89th minute of the match, Réda Benkirat got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elói Alvarenga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Macinha EC's Zacarias do Vale got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute, Olavo Urbano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Macinha EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Gilberto Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elói Alvarenga having to interfere. Pindorama F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
