In the 5th minute, Edu Mazza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. In the 9th minute, Dionísio Fernandes fired a really elegant long shot, but Sérgio Bezerra threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Edu Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Bezerra having to interfere. In the 14th minute, jogo aonde fc's Paulo Luz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sérgio Bezerra. Sérgio Bezerra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Sérgio Bezerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edu Mazza in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the game, Samuca Brodel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catuira's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave jogo aonde fc the free kick. After 26 played minutes Catuira got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Brodel. Sérgio Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulo Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulo Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sérgio Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paulo Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Catuira's Sérgio Bezerra got control of the ball when Edu Mazza tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Catuira getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sydney Aguiar hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Paulo Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. jogo aonde fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Bezerra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Catuira's goalkeeper Sérgio Bezerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edu Mazza. Igor Lopez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Carlos Salgado having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Sérgio Bezerra came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by jogo aonde fc's Edu Mazza. But to his dismay, Edu Mazza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Catuira booed when jogo aonde fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Carlos Salgado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Sydney Aguiar. In the 66thth minute of the game Paulo Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catuira's Sérgio Bezerra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Catuira's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Luz came free, but Sérgio Bezerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edu Mazza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Bezerra having to interfere. If Edu Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to jogo aonde fc getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Dionísio Fernandes hit a great ball. Igor Lopez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francisco Moura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Zé Carlos Salgado made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Paulo Luz notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Catuira's Sérgio Bezerra. Sérgio Bezerra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Paulo Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edu Mazza struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Sérgio Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for jogo aonde fc. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Luz in the 94th minute of play forced Catuira's goalkeeper Sérgio Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. jogo aonde fc's Edu Mazza got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. jogo aonde fc had played much better football throughout.
