Bambu SS's Gilmar Paraense shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 8th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dedé Félix but with some difficulty. If Cipriano Paskal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adalberto Barbosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Dracena in the 13th minute of the match. Dedé Félix was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zé Paulo Freire showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Dedé Félix made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Rodrigo Batista sent off a good shot on target. Remo Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ponte Preta CS's Breno Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Breno Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Bambu SS defense, Breno Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adalberto Barbosa. The Bambu SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adalberto Barbosa should have stopped the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Breno Dracena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adalberto Barbosa. Bambu SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Breno Dracena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 47 minutes into the match, Ponte Preta CS's Zé Paulo Amaral sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adalberto Barbosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After recieving a nice pass, Ponte Preta CS's 贺景磊 tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Cipriano Paskal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Agostinho Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ponte Preta CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Agostinho Porto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalberto Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rdth minute of the game Breno Dracena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bambu SS's Adalberto Barbosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cipriano Paskal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Adalberto Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Bambu SS got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Terra. In the 74th minute Zé Paulo Freire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Breno Dracena in the 76th minute of play forced Bambu SS's goalkeeper Adalberto Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cipriano Paskal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Barbosa having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Ponte Preta CS's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Paulo Freire came free, but Dedé Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ponte Preta CS's Breno Dracena got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Albuquerque kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. If Rodrigo Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Breno Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Ponte Preta CS left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bambu SS.
