Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jaime Meirelles kicked off to start the match. Curupa's Válbson Miranda shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fernandinho Barral but with some difficulty. After a defensive mix-up in Nazarezinho EC's zone, Maurinho Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandinho Barral came out of the goal and Maurinho Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Nazarezinho EC's goal looked a bit too open when Jean Ramalho came free, but Fernandinho Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes, Remo Messias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curupa and the Nazarezinho EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Curupa getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Remo Messias hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Curupa's zone, Jaime Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wanderson Pirani came out of the goal and Jaime Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute, Zé Pedro Galvão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maurinho Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Barral having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Válter Prestes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nazarezinho EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curupa the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Nazarezinho EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válter Prestes to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maurinho Araújo got free with Fernandinho Barral in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fernandinho Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Ramalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Nazarezinho EC's Fernandinho Barral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Nazarezinho EC from getting a goal against them. The Curupa fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Curupa's Maurinho Araújo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 32 played minutes Nazarezinho EC got a freekick which was hit by Silvinho do Vale. Maurinho Araújo struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Fernandinho Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curupa. After 37 minutes of play, Curupa's Maurinho Araújo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernandinho Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernandinho Barral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luan Almeida in the 41st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Ramalho in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandinho Barral saved Nazarezinho EC from getting behind. Nazarezinho EC's Válter Prestes got his second yellow card of the match in the 44th minute. The referee ordered Válter Prestes off the ground. Válter Prestes hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Jean Ramalho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.
The wind increased when Jean Ramalho made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean Ramalho in the 52nd minute of play forced Nazarezinho EC's goalkeeper Fernandinho Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Nazarezinho EC's Jaime Meirelles got a free kick in the 59th minute. Fernandinho Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurinho Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute, Maurinho Araújo made a precise shot to the right of Fernandinho Barral. Nazarezinho EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Luan Almeida hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Noel Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Maurinho Araújo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernandinho Barral was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Jean Ramalho notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Nazarezinho EC's Fernandinho Barral. Fernandinho Barral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Curupa were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nazarezinho EC for a fine match.
