In the 7th match minute, Unidos na Fé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enéas Chaves to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Teles in the 11th minute of play forced Annel AD's goalkeeper Natã Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Olavo Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Annel AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unidos na Fé the free kick. After a rather tough play, Annel AD's Olavo Marquez got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Túlio Neiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Augusto Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Gaúcho having to interfere. After some careless play in the Annel AD defense, Augusto Teles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Natã Gaúcho. The Annel AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Natã Gaúcho should have stopped the shot. After having played for 28 minutes, Enéas Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidos na Fé's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enéas Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Augusto Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Natã Gaúcho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Augusto Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Augusto Teles notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Annel AD's Natã Gaúcho. Natã Gaúcho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augusto Teles was the one to do the kick off. Augusto Teles didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-4 via right post in the game's 51st minute. Unidos na Fé's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Túlio Neiva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã Gaúcho having to interfere. Natã Gaúcho made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Augusto Teles sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Augusto Teles got free with Natã Gaúcho in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, Annel AD's goalkeeper Natã Gaúcho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Teles. Olavo Marquez hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Augusto Teles might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Natã Gaúcho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Teles ran back to his position shaking his head. Natã Gaúcho was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Túlio Neiva capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Túlio Neiva really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Natã Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Neiva in the 78th minute of the match. The supporters of Annel AD booed when Unidos na Fé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Teles didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Augusto Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unidos na Fé were furious when Jânio Leme was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Unidos na Fé! The referee gave Annel AD a penalty, 94 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gláuber Lara, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Unidos na Fé's Basílio Breckenfeld. 1-5. When the match was over Unidos na Fé could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Annel AD throughout the match.
