The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antônio Severo helped the player get up and apologised. Zeca Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th match minute, Tucunduba EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Severo to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th match minute, Cianorte SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitinho de Barros to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 19 minutes, Frederico Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tucunduba EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederico Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Washington Rocha might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geraldo Pitta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Washington Rocha ran back to his position shaking his head. Diamantino Queiroz came free with the goalkeeper in the 24th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Waldemar Silva could save by the left post. Waldemar Silva was a little too slow when Zeca Sena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 1-0. 39 minutes into the match, Tucunduba EC's Silas de Barros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geraldo Pitta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Silas de Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tucunduba EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Tucunduba EC's zone, Diamantino Queiroz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldemar Silva came out of the goal and Diamantino Queiroz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Waldemar Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diamantino Queiroz in the 62nd minute of the match. Silas de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waldemar Silva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diamantino Queiroz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Cianorte SC's Geraldo Pitta got control of the ball when Silas de Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Geraldo Pitta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silas de Barros in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Silas de Barros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tucunduba EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Zeca Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. In the 87thth minute of the game Zeca Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tucunduba EC's Waldemar Silva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Frederico Silveira kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the match was over Tucunduba EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cianorte SC throughout the match.
