Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Enrique Arantes started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tião Borges got free with Isaltino Seco in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the game, Bruno Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mameluca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Murutuba SC the free kick. A collision led to Mameluca getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Bruno Sena hit a great ball. Tião Borges received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Isaltino Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Murutuba SC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. The supporters of Murutuba SC booed when Mameluca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás do Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murutuba SC's Guto Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomás do Vale's late challenge caught a Murutuba SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás do Vale helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th match minute, Mameluca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás do Vale to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Walmir Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dênis Coelho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 25 minutes of play Mameluca's Tomás do Vale was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Tomás do Vale hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Murutuba SC's Teodoro Leal got a free kick in the 27th minute. Guto Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dênis Coelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Enrique Arantes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dênis Coelho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 44th match minute, Mameluca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tião Borges to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute, Enrique Arantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mameluca's Anísio Bueno got a free kick in the 47th minute. It was beautiful to see Murutuba SC's Jânio Netto in action when he in the 50th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After the first half Murutuba SC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tião Borges was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Mameluca getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Anísio Bueno hit a great ball. Walmir Garcia took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dênis Coelho. Mameluca's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Guto Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Arantes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Murutuba SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Guto Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. Dênis Coelho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Arantes in the 75th minute of the match. When Dé Meira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Mameluca:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Murutuba SC:s goal. In the 90th play minute Guto Moraes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dênis Coelho. 0-4. A hard shot 99 in the game by Guto Moraes from a close distance when the talented Dênis Coelho managed to make a qualified save. Mameluca's players were relieved. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Murutuba SC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
