After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Ian Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 19th minute Ian Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro de Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Puca FC's goalkeeper Alessandro de Souza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 25 minutes of play, Puca FC's Gilberto Cunha made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cesinha Quadros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ian Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Alessandro de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Snacth Clube booed when Puca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puca FC's Alessandro de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Azevedo in the 32nd minute of play. Alessandro de Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Puca FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Snacth Clube:s goal. The referee gave Snacth Clube a penalty, 36 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kaká Netto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Puca FC's Alessandro de Souza. 1-2. Alessandro de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute, Jacinto Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro de Souza. Puca FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Azevedo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alessandro de Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Azevedo made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Puca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacinto Azevedo came free, but Alessandro de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jacinto Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Alessandro de Souza when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alessandro de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Lucas went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Jacinto Azevedo succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo José Galvão during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Puca FC booed when Snacth Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo José Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geraldo de Castro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 69th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Alessandro de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Azevedo in the 72nd minute of play. Gualter Britto kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Ian Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro de Souza having to interfere. Gilberto Cunha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Alessandro de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
