Dida Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oscar Maia in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Zonta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oscar Maia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute, Dida Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bocayuval EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Luís Gustavo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Maia couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Oscar Maia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clemente Zonta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of S.C.CORINTHIANS PAULISTA booed when Bocayuval EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustão Veiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Bruninho Aguiar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Acácio Toledo skillfully saved the ball. Clemente Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Neves in the 72nd minute of play. Bocayuval EC's Dida Neves managed to work through S.C.CORINTHIANS PAULISTA's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Dida Neves dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. If Luís Gustavo Sá had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bocayuval EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of S.C.CORINTHIANS PAULISTA for a fine match.
