The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Socanelas FC's Niels Walhöfer got control of the ball when Raphael Matorin tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Jean Coutinho fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Socanelas FC's protests and gave Jean Coutinho a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Socanelas FC got a freekick which was hit by Jean Coutinho. When Daniel Håkansson came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Uxituba SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Håkansson couldn't finish the play. Sidney Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michal Zbydniowski in the 25th minute of the match. Socanelas FC's Jean Coutinho got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Jean Coutinho off the ground. In the 33rd minute, Jean Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 43rd minute, Uxituba SS's Daniel Håkansson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ediberto Maranhense to strike the kick off in the second half. If Raphael Matorin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Socanelas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wiliam Campidelis came free, but Niels Walhöfer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiliam Campidelis kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ediberto Maranhense during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Socanelas FC's Ediberto Maranhense got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Frederico Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Socanelas FC's protests and gave Frederico Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Uxituba SS's Daniel Håkansson got a free kick in the 80th minute. The audience was convinced that Wiliam Campidelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niels Walhöfer was relentless in the 84th minute of the game.
