Yuri Meireles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Formosa. 18 minutes into the match, Formosa's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Mazza came free, but Chiquinho de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egídio Velloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Orlando Melo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chiquinho de Alcântara. Formosa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Orlando Melo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Chiquinho de Alcântara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiaguinho Terra in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44thth minute of the game Rafa Mazza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Formosa's Chiquinho de Alcântara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Chiquinho de Alcântara made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Tiaguinho Terra sent off a good shot on target. Chiquinho de Alcântara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Mazza in the 54th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Tiaguinho Terra made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Formosa's Chiquinho de Alcântara tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Formosa's Chiquinho de Alcântara proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Formosa from getting a goal against them. 62 minutes into the match, Tiaguinho Terra notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Formosa's Chiquinho de Alcântara. Chiquinho de Alcântara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chiquinho de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafa Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 71 played minutes Rucas EC got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Mazza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egídio Velloso in the 74th minute of play forced Rucas EC's goalkeeper Yuri Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute Rafa Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho de Alcântara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Formosa's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa Mazza came free, but Chiquinho de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Formosa's Chiquinho de Alcântara got control of the ball when Tiaguinho Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Rafa Mazza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chiquinho de Alcântara. Rafa Mazza showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-7. Rucas EC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
