Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dionísio Souza kicked off to start the match. Calambao's Aleandro Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Proença in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Cepa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Motta to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Calambao's zone, Perivaldo Proença stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aleandro Cunha came out of the goal and Perivaldo Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Didi da Silveira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aleandro Cunha was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. The supporters of Cepa booed when Calambao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position.
